At the beginning of this month, I had the good fortune to attend the 2024 Wikimedia Hackathon in Tallinn, Estonia. It was really nice to see old friends and meet new colleagues and volunteers from all around the world. I worked on a few random things, including a task filed 15 years ago, which I thought I had fixed only to find out that I was loading the two relevant extensions in the opposite order of how they're loaded in production (filed T365973 about that).
Otherwise, I've been busy with planning work for the next (fiscal) year, and in between that, playing chess, working through the Logical Chess book, and watching chess analysis videos. (Lots of chess!)
